After School Club Page

Welcome to Treetops After School Club.

My name is Rosie and I am the leader of the After SChool Club.  I was born and grew up in Llawryglyn and attended Trefeglwys school when it was still across the road.

Treetops has a relaxed and fun environment where the activities are chosen by the children. We are based in the school hall, which allows us to have plenty of space to enjoy physical games as well as the sports equipment and the gym apparatus. And when the weather is fine there is also the park.

We have a wide range of craft resources, games and activities to keep everyone entertained. Some of the projects we have been doing are junk box modelling and soon we will be doing a self-portraits, as part of the celebrations for the queens diamond jubilee.

We have snack time at the beginning of each session, and whenever possible use this time to do some cooking. Recently we made some silly face pizzas which were loads of fun to make and also delicious to eat!

Treetops can be used as regular childcare for working parents, but can also offer one off cover for occasional appointments or when running late.

The club runs Monday- Friday in two 1 hour sessions, at a cost of £2:50 per session per child. If you have any queries please email or leave a message at school office and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
